Agent pricing for the agentic era

SumoSign self-serve is packs of envelopes now. No monthly plan. Trial is 5 sends in 14 days, no card.

SumoSign card: prepaid envelopes, no seats, give to your agent

I killed the monthly plan. You buy a stack of envelopes and we take one off when a send actually goes out.

I used to think a flat month was the honest version

No seats. No surprise overage. One number on the invoice. That is a decent deal if a human is in the product every day.

Agents are not. They fire three contracts on a Tuesday, then nothing until the 20th, then a pile. I watched that pattern enough times that the month started to look fake. You were paying for the quiet days.

So we bill the send. One accepted send, one envelope. Drafts are free. If the same send is retried and we already took it, we do not take a second. A person still has to sign. The API key cannot do that part. Give to your agent. Keep the signature human.

What you actually buy

Checkout is a one-off charge. Stripe does not start a subscription. The envelopes sit on the org. Dashboard, API, and MCP all draw from the same remaining number. Hit zero and new sends stop until you buy again.

Each pack is good for 12 months from the day you buy it. What you do not use by then is gone. I am not going to dress that up. Unused remainder is not refundable.

Before we pointed the public page at this, I bought a $10 pack on a throwaway org. Twenty showed up. I sent one. Nineteen. That was the test. If that had failed we would not be publishing this.

The four packs

Same product on all four. API, MCP, branded signing, one counter. You are not buying a worse API at $10.

You payYou getPer send
$1020 envelopes$0.50
$2560 envelopes$0.42
$100320 envelopes$0.31
$2501,000 envelopes$0.25

$25 is the one I expect most working teams to keep buying. $10 is the floor if you are wiring an agent and you only need a handful of real sends. $250 is the public volume pack. After that, talk to us.

Start on the trial

5 envelopes, 14 days, no card. When you buy a pack later, leftover trial credit does not come with you.

I cut the trial to five

We set the trial at 25 when the paid step after it was a $79 month. That wall is gone. The first pack is $10 for 20, so a 25-envelope trial was bigger than the first thing you could buy. Now it is 5 envelopes over 14 days. That is enough to wire an agent, send a real contract and watch a person sign it. After that, $10 buys 20. If you were already on a trial, the cap of 5 applies to you too. Your end date does not move.

Buy a pack mid-trial if you want. You get the pack you paid for, not the pack plus leftover trial. That is on purpose. Trial is trial.

What did not move

A person still signs. The audit trail is the same append-only log. The key still cannot complete a signature. We did not quietly turn this into an agent-pays-from-a-wallet product. You (or someone with a card) still buy the pack. The agent spends the envelopes.

Enterprise is still a conversation

There is no fifth pack button for SSO, a sign.yourcompany.com domain, or pinning a region. Those ride an invoice and a volume commit. Email us if that is you.

A few sharp edges

Refunds

If you have not sent anything from that pack, we can zero it. Send one and those envelopes stay spent. After 12 months the unused ones expire and I will not refund them.

Auto-reload

Not built. We email you when a lot runs low. You buy the next pack yourself. I would rather you hit a wall than wake up to a card we charged overnight.

Extra signers

Still one envelope. Two signers or ten, same send, same debit, up to the published cap.

Give to your agent

Start the trial. Buy a pack when you want to keep sending. One key. The human still signs.
